Love Later in Life - Find Your Happiness!

What goals and wishes do men over 45 have when it comes to love later in life?
We use the number 45 only as a symbol. Of course it generally applies to men of 41, 48, 52 and so on, all ages. Men over 45 actually tend to have similar plans and wishes as younger men do. Generally, though, men over 45 already have children, and their family planning is complete. They are hopefully, and mostly, better off financially. Basically they are single again. In other words, they've already had a marriage, a relationship behind them, so at 45 they now face a reorientation in life. At this age they now consider what life still has to offer them, or what they can still experience in their lives.

What Do You Need for Your Happiness?
Generally they have already achieved everything professionally, or have reached a point where you can say: "I no longer have to prove myself all over again in my career." The children, too, are slowly old enough to take care of themselves and to feed and provide for themselves. So the time is ripe for the stronger sex to say: "I can plan my newly gained time all over again. With this newly gained time I now want to realize my goals and dreams with a real, new partner at my side." Not a few men over 45 feel exactly this wish for change at precisely this point in life (give or take a few years, of course). Their offspring leave the nest, work is going well, so at this stage in the middle of life you ask yourself: "What does life still have to offer me?".
As for the ideal life partner, other interests naturally come into view compared with the early 30s or early 20s. Many men over 45 then naturally do the following and, right in this identity-finding phase, look for a clearly and distinctly younger partner. That's how they want to bridge the phase of finding themselves. Of course that can work out, but these men usually notice soon afterward how their shared ideas and goals for a lifestyle and a relationship simply don't fit together.
The following things continue to play a major role in love later in life as well:
- Sex
- Tenderness
- Love
However, shared attitudes, interests, and wishes between the man over 45 and his dream partner clearly become more and more important to him. In other words, he is really looking for a partner his own age who shares interests with him. He has more time available, i.e. he no longer focuses completely on his job, but has time, and he wants to spend that time with a suitable partner if possible. Of course that includes both of them enjoying lying on the beach, both enjoying walking through cities, both still having the desire to travel the world, or preferring to soak in a thermal spa for a long time, or hike around in the mountains. So it's very important that the partner shares interests with the man. This increasingly develops among men over 45.
